The township of Portland is a little town which now boasts The Foundations which feature the work of Guido Van Helten, a world renowned artist and markets, held on the 2nd Sunday of every month. The Portland Art Show is held in the Crystal Theatre on the first weekend in March and is one of the best little art shows in NSW. The township boasts the Wallnuts Signs of Yesteryear event showcasing old advertising signs that were painted on the local shops and hotels.
